Fashion Week 2011 and my first 1940s Dictionary page piece....
This time of year is always exciting....as we lead up to Fashion Week 2011 I thought it would be the perfect time to use one of my vintage dictionary pages to create my 2011 Art Piece for Fashion Week 2011.....so here it is....I was so afraid to start using my vintage pages....but then I thought it would be neat to create pieces that went with each page....so I went straight to the letter F and straight to the word...Fashion ....and this is the piece that was inspired ......
I really love working this way.....but I need your help....what word should I work on next.....I have Spring on the brain now...and think that will be on my list of dictionary pages to work on....but I need you to help me along this fun journey......
LG Fashion week in Toronto has a super fun schedule of events... so head here and check it out!
Happy Creating Everyone!!! and thanks for all your visits!!!

I really like this Diane! Tres Chic :D
Beautiful colors, Diana! I love her sweet face (and the fangs above! lol!). Next word...mmm...whimsy? Or maybe fantasy, or hedgehog. :)) Okay, enough from me. Have a good one, my friend! xox Pam

Wonderful illo, Diana! I'm trying desperately to come up with another word. Hmmm...maybe "chic" or "attire"? I'm pretty awful with words ;) I'm sure you'll come up with something fabulous! xo
thank you Michaele!!!
Le mot toilette sonne bien...
Il est employé chiquement pour une tenue...
Magnifique publication...
J'aime aussi les petits mannequins...
j'ai un mannequin fillette à l'atelier que j'ai prénommé Faustine...
Très beau travail comme d'habitude...
Gros bisous.
Found 'em! So cool. This is going to be a fantastic series.
