Another Ink and Watercolour Piece for Paint Party Friday.....Vintage Halloween Fan Art.....

piece 1

I know you're all getting sick of the Vintage Halloween paintings....but I only have a few more to share...so I hope you don't mind this cute little Vintage carver...some fan art I created with ink and watercolour.....I love working on paintings that I can use in all sorts of ways....so this original was also used to create some fun vintage inspired Halloween brooches....These were created on wood and then I burnt the edges...for a little more vintage appeal.....

Wishing you all a wonderful Paint Party Friday this week...and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!!!

Happy Creating!!!!

You have created this sweet little rosey cheeked child, so well.
Also love the burnt edges and it really does give that fabulous vintage look.

how could we ever get tired of seeing these wonderful vintage inspired creations! I love this- you've really captured the style of that era and wow on the wooden brooch-fabulous. How did you transfer the picture or did you repaint it onto the wood (sorry there are so many technical things that I'm clueless about!

Totally charming! And from the first image, who'd have thought it was so small - even harder to do. It looks great enlarged too!

so sweet! I love that the pumpkin pieces are all over the floor. I can't get enough of that face! As someone who can't draw, I'm amazed that a few tiny lines and a little bit of color can capture so much expression and emotion!
