Yes this happened! I'm addicted!

I finally got myself a smoker.....this is to tie me over till I build a smokehouse!! made a bunch of stuff today and I'm addicted!!!

the smoked salmon was so AMAZING! Have you tried smoking yet?

Love morning warm up sessions!!!

Made this beet recipe up and then used it in my bread of all things!!! amazing!!!

 

Hi Everyone!!! I was craving a new way to enjoy more beets and cooked them after shredding them and then decided to also add some of this mixture to a homemade bread I whipped up today!!! this was so good!!!! I filled the center with a goat cheese that I mixed up with some honey salt and pepper and it turned out amazing!!! great combination...goat cheese and beets!!! the colour of the bread from beets is so pretty!!! love it!!!

A little sunshine during the rainiest day!

Happy Sunday Beautiful People!! Oh my goodness the rain came late lastnight and it is still raining!!! we spent the whole day in our PJs and made the most of it by working on fun stuff together!!! relaxing and making some fun new memories!!! Super simple and amazingly delish salad dressing!!! for all your garden goodies!!!

As many of you know I love love love to garden and I also love to pick fresh goodness from it for a quick lunch!!! I just picked these goodies and whipped up a super quick salad....and thought I would share one of my favorite dressings! Some olive oil, wine vinegar, finely rasp grated garlic, old fashioned grainy dijon mustard and salt and pepper!!!! So good on any salad and also amazing on grilled veggies!!!

Is it me or does time seem to be flying by super quickly!!! I can't believe that we are in the midst of March Break and Spring is in the air!!!  It feels so amazing with the warm breeze on your face!!! I had the amazing pleasure of painting this super sweet dog portrait!!! I have been so super busy with projects and fun things that I have been a little absent from Blogland!!! is it me or are there way too many things to read and see and like and love and you name it!!!! lol....

Who doesn't love an old fashioned donut!!!! so much fun to create!!!!

Oh my goodnesssssssssss these are so super easy to make and they taste super yummy especially when you grate fresh nutmeg in them!!!! and then shake them around with some icing sugar and cinnamon!!!!

Dry Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh grated nutmeg

Wet ingredients
2tbs butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
3/4 cup sour cream

Blend wet ingredients then add in dry ingredients....mix well and form into a ball...refrigerate dough for one hour....then roll out...cookie cut and fry in oil till golden brown....a few minutes each side...and voila!!! place them on paper towels and once all are complete you can roll them in cinnamon sugar or ice them is you please!!!! so good!!!

Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought about art licensing!!! but what a fun and inspiring way to share your art with the world!!! I am working with this amazing company that uses my art on all sorts on products!!! the latest line they have is Yoga Mats!!!

I have been creating a lot in the kitchen!!!

 

Hello Everyone!!!!

I have been creating all sorts of fun things in the kitchen lately!!! and one weekend I was at my Mom's and we made cream puffs so I came home and turn the recipe into strawberry eclairs...and they were amazing!!! Super simple and fun to make and with some stewed berries these were a huge hit!!!
