Meet my fun little Jack-o-lantern character.....he came to life for my 10 Minute Warm Up today!!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone....I just made some amazing butternut squash soup for today and used all the amazing ingredients that we grew in our garden....from the garlic and onions to the Butternut Squash.....

this soup will warm anyone's heart and soul on a chilly beautiful day like today....and speaking of Squash and pumpkins....I took 10 minutes to whip up this fun little character!!! I think I will take 10 minutes to colour him and share him again in colour....what a fun start to the day.....

My newest cupcake toppers....in time for Halloween.....

Is it me or are there more of us out there....you know the people that want to control everything....make everything perfect....spread themselves too thin.....lol.....well I have been known to get into way more than I should but seriously I just can't help myself....I love to create all kinds of things....from silly things to even sillier things.....so of course I had to create some new cupcake toppers for my shop....

I just love creating illustrations as inspired by some vintage things from the past....so I have these super silly and fun illustrations that were screaming to become some Halloween cupcake toppers....so I worked on these....and they just make me happy!!!

What do you think? who is your favorite character in the lot......lol....I am partial to the Jack-o-lantern guy!!!

Another Ink and Watercolour Piece for Paint Party Friday.....Vintage Halloween Fan Art.....

I know you're all getting sick of the Vintage Halloween paintings....but I only have a few more to share...so I hope you don't mind this cute little Vintage carver...some fan art I created with ink and watercolour.....I love working on paintings that I can use in all sorts of ways....so this original was also used to create some fun vintage inspired Halloween brooches....These were created on wood and then I burnt the edges...for a little more vintage appeal.....

Paint Party Friday...more Vintage Halloween.....

I am having way too much fun in the Studio these days with my whole new Vintage Fan Art....I created this mini ink and watercolour painting of this cute little girl and her jack-o-lantern ... and then loved her so much I also had to create this Vintage wooden art brooch.....I created this with wood and also burnt the edges to fit the vintage appeal .....super fun!!! I am submitting this new painting to Paint Party Friday this week.....hope you don't get too sick of all my Vintage Halloween work....more to come!!!

Having so much fun with more Vintage inspired Halloween Illustrations.....

I am having a blast with my whole 2011 Halloween Vintage Inspired Collection....here you can see my sketch to colour to product and then some examples of stuff I have created with these cute little art circles...what fun!!! I can't believe that this is the last week before school starts!!! I have been enjoying all of these last days with our son Cole....and we are enjoying arts and crafts and summer time fun....

I will have full days of work once he heads back to school....so I am enjoying some last days off myself....

Paint Party Friday .....addicted to Vintage Halloween these days....

Hi Everyone.....great to be back to PPF this week...

As a full time Illustrator in the field I am like all the shops all around town putting out all of their Holiday Stuff way ahead of schedule....so lately I have been having so many Vintage Halloween inspirations...so this week I have a little vintage fan art piece to share for PPF......this piece is an ink and watercolour piece and is my version of an old Vintage Halloween Card....I love collecting vintage stuff and then using it as inspiration.....

Halloween already....what?

I am staying ahead of the wave this year and worked on some fun Halloween crafts while we were away on vacation.....these are my cute little vintage Halloween  ornaments....I took a free craft class on creating these and now I can't stop having fun with them!!!!


They are super easy and I used some cute vintage pieces to create these witches.....

I think this is a perfect rainy day craft for kids of any age!!! I am going to sell these in my Etsy Shop too....

Everyone is already in Halloween Mode!!! I love a vintage Halloween!

I got another lovely note today from Pam the shop owner over at
Sew Gracious...she has the most fun collection of all things fabric....and even some cool Halloween Baskets. You have to pop by and check out her shop!!
