Mixed Media Monday..."look what I found" or shall I say "look who I found!!!

I was working on some rough sketches for a Coastal and nautical line of holiday cards and this is one of the pieces I did...

I always wondered whether or not Santa got a nice vacation...but the truth is....he has been spotted on many wonderful beaches all around the world...

He even loves to surf of all things....my kind of guy!!! So this Christmas you may want to leave him some sunscreen with those yummy cookies and milk...he will be so happy and safe from any harmful UVA UVB rays.....!!!

I just love Santa!!!!

Happy Monday!!!

Gorgeous! I love Santa too - although I can never work out why he doesn't use some of his magic to change his clothes to shorts and t-shirt when delivering the Chrissy presents down under. We have some very hot Christmases! Diane

Hi Diana,

Your Santa is wonderful and that is how our Santa Claus should dress.
As you may know it is Summer at Christmas time in NZ.

Have a very happy week

Oh, this is great! I love the bold colors and the tree on the surfboard - wonderful Santa! Kendra is still obsessed with Christmas: we sing carols instead of nursery songs before bed. . . Thank you too for your sweet comments, Kristin xo

Your Santa would look very much at home on our beaches here in Western Australia with Christmas in the summertime.

Diana - thank you so much for your kind words. Everything is OK. My brother had reached a stage where he had no quality of life and I think he is in a better place now.
