10 Minute Warm ups with my Sidekick....Happiness.....

 

Happy Tuesday Everyone....just when I thought my 10 Minute Warm Ups couldn't get to be any funner....they do....Today is the first day our little munchkin has joined me in my 10 Minute Warm Ups....It is so nice to have him off of School for the Summer and I am doing all kinds of fun work with him to help him come September....but the fun part is our 10 Minute Warm ups....I am having way too much fun drawing with him and I hope you will join us this Summer and share your work here...... 

I also thought I would share some cool shots of the Fireworks we had in Town for our Canada Day Festivities........This is our view from our front porch....

10 Minute Warm Up is about taking 10 minutes of your day to breathe, relax, open up your mind to possibilities and then create something....you can be inspired to sketch your coffee cup....something on your desk....your table....anything....try it....it is a great way to start the day....then pop back here and share it so we can all see and be inspired by each other!!! The Best Doors Lead to Gardens....the Lady Bug Garden....

I just created this piece as a nod to my friends the Lady bugs....they help keep my garden perfect....considered useful insects as many species feed on aphids or scale insects, which are pests in gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places. I am submitting this toThree Muses...since for me the best doors lead to gardens!!!

I just know I love them and they are a very cute bug in our gardens....I also love flowers and figures this piece would be titles...."the Lady Bug Garden"....

My Love Bugs and Illustration Friday - Focus

Hi Everyone....Hope you all had a wonderful week....this week's theme on Illustration Friday is "Focused" and I decided to show you my new paintings and a piece from a while ago...when I think of focused...I think of busy bees that are focused on their work....and nothing else....and who can blame them...heading to see all kinds of beautiful flowers.....I also have a sweet little Lady bug...but she is more focused on finding a mate.........and last but not least .....

I added this fortune teller...she always has to be focused so she can give the correct fortunes to her clients......she wants them to keep coming back.....

Yummy and Cute Baking Finds!!!

Hi Everyone...



I just finished baking some yummy treats for all my friends who are coming tonight for a festive food filled night....

We will end the night with a bon fire and S'mores.....what fun!

whenever I bake I always do some shopping for special cake pans....and today I found this magical pan.....the pan is filled with pretty bees, butterflies and lady bugs....
oh yeah...to get your own cute creature pan you can head to a local Williams Sonoma or shop on-line.....
