10 Minute Warm Up Thursday.....My Daffodils in full colour....

Hello Everyone....so thrilled to have you back here....

I am really enjoying my 10 Minute Warm Ups....Today I took yesterdays sketches and used them as my 10 Minute Warm ups by adding some colour to them....I am so addicted to this new fun Daily Challenge...you have to try it out....seriously....take a pencil and paper and just sit down for 10 minutes and draw whatever pops into your head....it is amazing what comes to life on your sketchbook pages....and this is such a great way to get inspired for more art!

I will be here everyday during the week sharing all the things that come to life in my sketchbook...and I hope you will visit and watch as things unfold....but I also hope you will gain some inspiration to try this fun exercise yourself!

10 Minute Warm Up is about taking 10 minutes of your day to breathe, relax, open up your mind to possibilities and then create something....you can be inspired to sketch your coffee cup....something on your desk....your table....anything....try it....it is a great way to start the day....then pop back here and share it so we can all see and be inspired by each other!!! Paint Party Friday.....Saying good-bye to the Spring Daffs....

Hi Everyone....and Happy Friday.....

I love love love all the amazing things Springs brings with her.....especially the early bloomers like my daffodils....they were so bright and cheery and really made me happy.....they are slowly going away .....and I wanted to paint them to capture them before they are totally gone...so I created this super sweet set of paintings as a Memory of Spring 2012.....

I can't wait to do more gardening outside ...especially planting my vegetable garden....we always love to enjoy working outside and love to pick and enjoy the fruits of our labor.....

So today I am sharing my new paintings with all of my super talented friends over at Paint Party Friday....

Major Storms here....a few shots of our Spring Blooms .... and you can meet our new friend.....Gary

 
We are having some scary storms here today....so I wanted to share some shots some of my plants outside before they are destroyed by the wind....and my indoor tulips....and we wanted you to meet our new friend....a snail we call Gary.....

Yesterday when we went to school in the morning there was a poor snail in a large puddle....Cole and I saved him at school and placed him in the grass....the bell rang and Cole asked me to take him home....so I did....I then logged on and looked up what snails eat.....and read they love apples....who knew...so I cut up an apple and the snail was in heaven....he ate and ate and then went into his shell and slept and slept....I was shocked at the cute bites out of the apple slice......

We slice fresh apple twice a day for him...and he is so cute...once the storms let up we will give him a new home in our backyard.....

Hurray!!! the flowers are coming ....Lady Spring is finally ready ......

Earlier my daffodils started coming up...then we got hit with snow...but thankfully they were not damaged...they are all out ready for a lovely show for Lady Spring....

I love this warmer weather....

I can't wait till it's time to start more gardening!!!

SO to welcome the beautiful Daffodils....I created this fun piece that I think could be some fun  fabric ....who knows!!!!
