10 Minute Warm Up ...Monday ....I can't wait to start gardening....

 

Hi Everyone....10 Minutes goes by pretty quickly ....especially without a coffee....I am sharing this little sketch I did this morning.....It is a sunny and gorgeous day and it is going to be warm!!! I am thinking about all the amazing things that come when winter is over...things like Gardening....so this little Gardener popped into my head....now for some poached eggs and some coffee...then back to work and maybe even some outdoor fun!!! oh and please join in on 10 Minute Warm Up! and please pop in daily....she will be all in colour tomorrow!!!!

Happy Birthday Dad! PPF and my 10 Minute Warm Up Friday......super quick paintings.....

Hi Everyone....and Happy Friday....

I am super behind on my fun stuff for PPF and 10 Minute Warm up....but better late than never....so I hope you don't mind me sharing a few quick 10 minute pieces I just finished this minute....these paintings are 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches in size and they are ink and watercolour....

I had to work on my 10 minute warm up today and almost forgot it was Friday....being that it is my sweet Dad's Birthday!!!

We had a wonderful pre-Birthday Celebration lastnight and also had a nice Birthday Breakfast with family this morning....it was wonderful....

I made a special Cake for my sweet Daddy  too!!!! I will share that for my Sweet Saturday Post!!!!

Happy First Day of School Everyone....

It seemed like Summer was going to last forever....but like all good things....eventually they must come to an end....and a new beginning starts...I remember those first days of School....we would be so thrilled to get all of our new supplies...I loved getting all of my artsy supplies the most.....and new books....and markers and pens and all kinds fun stuff to create with....

I loved starting to write in my new journal and the writing was always so super neat when the year started and as the weeks progressed it got a little bit relaxed....so to speak! Good times and great memories.....

I know there are many little ones that are super excited to be back at School...and many of them started their first day back today....so good luck to all of you....the children....the parents and the wonderful teachers....

Wishing you a Super fun , Super safe and Super creative new School year!!!

What's on my workspace Wednesday......working digital today....

Hi Everyone....since last week I shared with you all some pen and ink sketches in my Sketchbook....this week I happen to have this cutie on my workspace right now and I am working on some colour variations of this piece....so I thought it was perfect to share what I have on my workspace this Wednesday....

I hope you are all having a super inspiring week filled with all kinds of fun creative projects and I hope that you will all pop back often to see how this latest work unfolds....

My process is pretty simple....I always work with a pencil in my sketchbook....when I create what seems to be to my liking...I then do an ink version of the piece....scan it and then work with Illustrator and Photoshop to clean it all up and make it happy.....Sharing this with everyone over at WOYWW.....a fun place to see what people are working on.....love it!!!

Freebie Mondays ...and the thoughts of school....

Hi Everyone....this week is the last week of Summer Holidays before the children head back to School...so with that in mind I have created a fun little printable for notes you can add to lunches, teacher's notes or just for fun....I always love to leave some notes in our son's lunch bag....so he knows I am thinking about him....

The Summer of Colour ....week 6

Well you know what they say....."Time flies when you're having fun"

it sure does....today is the start of the last week of the Summer of Colour....and I am sad that it is over....it flew by and was a blast and a half......The above piece is my take on the colours for this week....all inspired by "Watermelon Ice"......

and I also thought I would share the six weeks of my Summer of colour....

What a super fun time.....
