"Yummy Sketch of the Day" Requests - Mocha Ice Cream Pie and a French Maid - and some fun updates from a great Valentine's Day....

Hi Everyone....



The day started off with a fun session with our son drawing Valentine's for Daddy....then we made a wonderful feast for dinner...ended it with a slice of the cake I made and then watched Celebrity Apprentice...wow ...what a crazy show tonight....why can't we all just get along....



Today I feature two special requests that I received in my comments over the last week....I had a special request for a nice slice of mocha ice cream pie ....and a funny request from one of my best friends....Carmen requested a french maid outfit....this is actually a special request for our friend Mary who had a special date tonight and this is what she was planning on wearing...(Dan you lucky guy) The fun thing is that my best friend Mary is dating my husbands best friend Dan ...so where ever we go we have everyone there...it is tons of fun....

Can't wait to hear the scoop from tonight when we all do our massive shopping trip Saturday....



and then for the more toned down Valentine's day I added some photos of our son drawing with me today (funny how he likes working like Mommy...both hands)
and him eyeing that cake....I love when he yells "cake" it is so cute....

and to end tonights post a photo of the huge peanut butter cookie Brad is taking to work to share with all his friends....I made a chocolate ganache on top...yummm! and ofcourse I had to make special lattes for us....hearts all around..and a great day and night....

Yummy sketches of the Day - Happy Valentine's Day!...Yummy Photos...and some of my favorite heart things.....

Hi Everyone....

I wish you all a "Happy Valentine's Day" ....may you enjoy some wonderful treats and be grateful for all the wonderful things in this world...

Today's "Yummy Sketch of the Day" is a collage I made with a few sketches...I have some roses for you...cupid with his arrow and ofcourse I have some yummy chocolates.....

I baked all of my treats today...I made a special heart cake for tomorrow night and a few mini cakes ...one for my parents and one for my husband to take to work for a special treat tomorrow....

I also added a few photos of some of my favorite finds that are so "Love" oriented....I always make special vignettes on my table for Valentine's Day....my special blown glass lady from Paris, with her bag of croissants...the eiffel tower and some hearts and candles...love it....

Inspire me Thursday - Theme "Faces", Yummy Sketch of the Day and some fun stuff

Hi Everyone...

Lots of stuff in today's post....Inspire Me Thursday's theme this week is "faces" so I took a bunch of my favorite work and put it together in this collage....

Also perfect with the theme is this special Valentine's Day card I made for my husband from Cole and I....you add faces to the pop ups in the card and the front becomes a "peek a boo" window....

I printed the templates and photos and then put it all together and embellished the card....I have to also figure out what special treats I will be making for Valentine's Day...hmmmmm

Can't wait to see Brad's reaction Thursday...

I also feature a special Valentine's Day Heart cake...all iced and decorated with special roses...

Yummy Sketch of the Day - Valentine's Day Cupcake and Chocolate Cocoa with a Strawberry Marshmallow - Bikini and an AWARD!

Hi Everyone....

What a wonderful surprise...Today I received an "I love you this much award" from Aspa - (you have to pop by her blog and check out her work...amazing stuff) what a wonderful way to end the day...Thank you ...I am honored.....the award is so cute and love the colour...how can you go wrong with red....I am sending the love award to 2 people....each talented and special in their own way...pop by their blogs to see their wonderful work.

Today's featured "Yummy Sketch of the Day" is a Valentine's Day Cupcake with a special candy message heart and a nice hot cup of homemade cocoa with a strawberry marshmallow....

and instead of a dress I drew a bikini....it must be because the weather here is so horrible and I am thinking of warm beaches....
