Wednesday Design warm up......I turn to flowers all the time

I am in shock that it is Wednesday already....where does the time go? We just got back from a wonderful long weekend up at the cottage and I am finding it hard to get inspired....so you know me...and when I need to get warmed up I have fun with my little process I shared with you all earlier....do some doodles and then create stuff with pieces from my doodles....it almost always turns out to be a flower...or something floral inspired....and today I worked on this piece.....just enough fun to get me back to work on some projects!

I am working on some tight deadlines and have so much to do but I have to say I am feeling like vacation mode took over .....

SO excited as the Founder I could cry!!!! and I did......

Hi Everyone...As the Founder of 100 Illustrations.....I had so many sleepless nights thinking if this was going to be a success......and today as the courier delivered the first printed copy to me....I had so many feelings come over me.....I had eyes full of  happy tears and I am so so thrilled with this first annual.....as with many things that I work on day to day....I love to help people.....with 100 Illustrations my mandate is to help my fellow Illustrators and Artists get work published and out in the world....so many can experience it and many can enjoy sharing their work with people in the Industry......I also know how exciting it is to be published in a book and to share this experience with people makes my soul happy......

Here is our announcement on our blog for 100 Illustrations......and some amazing photos of our book....

It is with great pleasure that we announce our 2011 Annual in Print....the first printed copy arrived at our office today and we were so excited to see it .....this project was so important to us and we worked very hard with blood, sweat and tears to get this to Publication and it is finally here....we feel like parents that just delivered our first born....it is gorgeous and full of amazing Illustrations....As this was our first ever Annual and the project team was all new....we learned so much from this amazing experience and are so thrilled to gain so much support from people all over the world.....our mandate is to help get your work out there and with books like this it is a reality.....

We will keep you posted as this book becomes available in bookstores!!!

so if you had any questions about participating in any of our projects please send us a note....we love to hear from seasoned Illustrators to aspiring artists....

We will do a project lessons learned session before we launch the 2012 Annual....so we can avoid any issues or delays with the Project come 2012.....
