Sunday Sketches....coffee and cake....yummy

I love sleeping in on Sundays and I love waking up to some fresh brewed coffee....That scent just makes me feel all cozy and warm and is perfect for relaxing on a Sunday with my sketchbook in hand...

I was inspired this morning to create this quick Sunday Sketch for you all...some fresh coffee and I even added a slice of cake for you all to virtually enjoy! These will be inspirations for some new surface designs I have in mind this week....

Cream and Sugar....yummy coffee inspired cool art....

I just got a note from the Diane, Shop Owner over at DiGi...she makes all kinds of fun jewelry....some using vintage glass beads...you have to pop by and check it out...

She curated this super fun collection of coffee inspired art....it is titled "Cream and Sugar" and I love it!!! she was sweet enough to include my wood canvas with pyrography work...a nice warm latte....

Daily Art Stop - Challenge Wednesday - Theme "Love"

Custom Mini Paintings for Client....

thanks for popping by....today I post a few new mini paintings I finished for a client. She is from Spain and will be hanging these in her kitchen...what fun! and I love knowing that my art travels the world more then I do ....lol

I have a few amazing things on the go these days but it's too early to talk about so I will hold off till I have more information....

Day 8 of 21 Day Creative Exercise - creating while I cook...yumm!

Hi Everyone...

I made you a special cup of coffee or tea...so we can visit...

Hard to believe it is day 8 of my creative journey with this exercise...what a fun it has been each and every day....

Today I felt like making a homemade pizza from scratch (had to post some photos...you know me and food...lol) so while it was baking Cole and I painted ...I had a lot of fun with these...I especially have a love for giraffes...ever since we took our son to the Zoo last summer and he was so excited to see the "big" giraffe....what a great time

I love homemade pizza...

anything baking with a bread base smells pretty good!

Yummy Sketch of the Day - the first for 2008! - Breakfast - the works

After ringing in the New Year it's always nice to get a yummy breakfast in....2 eggs over easy, some bacon, hash browns and a steamy cup of coffee....

The girls head out for our last dinner of 2007!

Tonight a bunch of my wonderful friends and I headed out for our last Dinner of 2007. We headed to a place called


Sotiris in Burlington. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant that specializes in authentic Greek cuisine. The Saganaki OPA! was amazing ...it is Flaming Kefalotyri cheese and what could be a better way to start a meal...flaming yummy cheese...

The atmosphere is wonderful and you definately feel like you've wandered into a Greek Restaurant. The owner, Mata greeted us and the service was perfect to say the least. Our food was amazingly tasty and the quantity was abundant. We enjoyed our night out and even did a greek coffee reading for our friend Marina... interesting and fun!!!

Another wonderful time!

Here's to a whole new year of fun and great times...
