Hi Everyone...and Happy Friday.....I have had one of my busiest and funnest weeks ever!!!

It has been a whirlwind of a week...and I am thrilled to share all the fun things I did this week with you all......I am so blessed to have so much inspiration around me these days....I have been going a hundred miles and hour and I just don't have enough hours in the day to get everything I want done.....I guess we all have days like that....and I have to tell you all that I secretly love days like that....mind racing with so many ideas....finding inspiration all around....meeting amazing people....and spending lots of time creating sweet things.....

I baked special cookies this week for a very special team meeting....yesterday I was at our son's school working on a very special art project.....I also created some sweet Minion Valentine's for munchkin too....then I had to make things a little creative with the Valentine's Day chocolates for our son's Teacher so I dabbled in paper flowers...and I love the way they turned out!!! I hope she loves them.....and last but not least....I painted a special Angel for Valentine's Day!!!

I think I need an extra long fun Family Weekend now....

Happy Sunday Sketches Everyone....

Hi Everyone...I am a little behind with my Sunday sketches...so I whipped this pretty little Angel head up for you all after Church today....We had a wonderful weekend filled with quality Family time and some fun winter sports....we went skating and it was a blast!!!!

Paint Party Friday....and 10 Minute Warm up.....

I have always loved Angels....and cherubs....and I love reading too....so this little reading cherub makes me super happy and I had so much fun messing around with this piece....

I am super excited about something major amazing that I get to be a part of ....but I can't share anything with you all till I know what is going on....so please stay tuned!!! this is life changing and such a cool opportunity!!!

An Angel gets her wings to fly....Fly Renee...we love you!

Hi Everyone...it is with great sadness that I write this post....you see my friend Renee has passed away....I don't see it as her leaving us...I see it as another Angel getting her wings to fly....she has no more pain and is with us each and every day.....

She has been and will always be an inspiration to me....and I hope you all take a moment to head over and look at some of the wonderful posts she had on her blog...she was so many things to many of us....her wisdom and special sense of humor always made my days even brighter....and she was always so supportive and kind too.....

We will not forget you dearest friend....bless your heart and fly Renee...fly!!!

Mixed Media Monday - "wings" my last three paintings for "A painting a day 2010" and Cole is joining me on this journey!!!

Hi Everyone....what a fun and busy weekend!!! My Brother and Sister-in-law just got back from a wonderful trip to the Dominican...so we spent the weekend with them and family catching up....it was a lot of fun....

This week on MMM the theme is "wings" and how fitting is this piece that is a collection of three paintings....as children we always grow up thinking that our parents have favorites...but the truth is that there is always enough love and as we grow and have more children our hearts grow even bigger....The piece is titled...." Enough Love for Everyone" and the Angel is a symbol for all Mothers....to me my Mom is an Angel and I love her with all my heart....she has always shown love to my brother and I all of our lives and we feel so blessed....so call your Mother and tell her how much you love her....and if she is not with you any longer always know that she is a Guardian Angel who will always have lots of Love as she watches you from above....

I also am so thrilled that Cole is painting again!!! I love when he asks to paint....today he created a watercolour piece for all of you to enjoy....I think he may join me on this "Painting a Day" journey....whenever his heart desires to create with Mommy!!!

A painting a Day - Day 5 - January 5th 2010 - My submission to Three Muses Challenge this week...Theme "Angels"

Hi Everyone...



I am really enjoying the "Painting a Day Project 2010"...This is the 5th painting for this year!!! I also created an angel on January 2nd you can check out to the left....

The painting for today is inspired by one of my garden sculptures...an angel that reads amid all of my wonderful plants in the summer...a great inspiration since it is very cold here and very snowy right now...

I was very happy when I saw the prompt on Three Muses ....I love love love creating Angels...all sorts of them....

They just make me smile...

Hope you all have your own wonderful Guardian Angel !!!

Hi Everyone...

To me my Canada is home sweet home and I love everything about it...the wonderful 4 seasons and the beauty they each possess....

the scenery...the wildlife and the people are angels......

There is no way to put everything Canada represents to me on a single piece of art....so this one is just a little bit about the wonderful place I call home....(ink and watercolour)....
