Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!!

What a day to be on my fast....I really didn't work things out...today is Cinco de Mayo and I will be making all kinds of yummy treats for my boys...but for me it is day three of my juice fast....ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am feeling really good today and feel like the detox is working perfectly.....but Guacamole and yummy treats are my favorite....so in lieu of eating I am going to make a feast and eat it virtually...

I started my day with passion fruit and a yummy concoction from my juicer....If you know me you know that I am addicted to passion fruit....I even keep it on my night table because I love the scent of it....I think God would eat this every morning too....it is heaven!!!!

There are so many of my favorite things I could make today...like my Mexican meat biscuits.....guacamole for sure and even some tacos for lunch and Mexican Pizza....

My recipe for Guacamole can be found here.....It is so good ....Sometimes I just add it to a big pile of kidney beans for an instant healthy salad that doesn't taste like it's diet food...yummy!!!!

They say if you can't eat, all you have to do is pretend you ate something and you will feel like you did....I don't know about you....but this is really crazy....lol....but I was so happy that yesterday on day 2 of my detox I met up with my friends and there were so many treats!!! chocolate covered stuff....bars....coffee....all the things I love and all I drank was water....I am so proud of myself....

Tomorrow I can introduce more into my diet....this is my last day of detox!!! but I have learned that the quality of what you put in makes a huge difference in how you feel.....I also have a Evening in Paris Bridal Shower to attend and you know there will be plenty of goodies there too!!!
