As many of you know I am a huge bee fan....and I just love these amazing creatures that do so much to help the world....so this Spring I came up with these cute little busy bees....they are all happy because they are doing what they love.....They really are amazing...and we need to do things that help the bees....

Here are ten things you can do to help Honey Bees....

In 2010 I started something called Help Me, Help People, Help You.... a site where partial proceeds from art went to help people in various countries learn to become bee keepers.....As bees search for nectar, they pollinate plants. Placed strategically, beehives can as much as double some fruit and vegetable yields. In this way, a beehive can be a boost to a whole village. Taking care of these bees also acts as a supplemental income for people in these needy countries...so this year I think these cute bees with help me raise more money that can help my Bees for a Cause Project 2011......In the first year we only raised 100.00 dollars but more than that we purchased bees , lessons and a hive for struggling families....and that in turn helped with their crops and in turn helped us...

In  2011partial proceeds from my Busy Bees will help this cause again "BEE" cause I truly believe it makes a difference......

Love this! When I think of bees sometimes, I think of mean popular girls dressing scantily clad (ever hear of the term Queen B?). At least these bees are nice, right?

The bees are adorable. Great cause, bees are so very important to the earth. Without them what would this earth be like? Pretty dismal I would guess.

Amazingly cute bees! My name means Honey Bee and we did have bee hives in our pastures, growing up. The honey was so good on hot biscuits. mmmmm.

We love your bees and the intention behind them. I did not know about your bee project - will look at that! Out friend is a bee keeper and other houses have one of his queens and her hive in their yard. We all get their honey at spin off time. And we do not live in the country we are a city neighborhood! We are wait listed for a hive but we visit theirs - love the dance, the humm! Thank you for our wonderful pkg which came in the mail! Lovely, just beautiful as expected! Thank you!

Hi Diana,

These little bees are sooo adorable and I love this cause! What a great way to make a difference!

Just found your comment about your new Sweet Saturday posts and this sounds like so much fun! Sorry I missed this, but I will have to try to join in next week! I do love to bake like crazy, so shouldn't be too difficult for me to come up with a sweet pastry or picture!

Have to say again how adorable your son is! Just the cutest little guy and your cupcakes are to die for! Yumm!

Love all your bee illustrations at the top too! How did you make your pendants for the necklaces? They are so perfect!

smiles and wishing you a great Sunday!
