Mixed Media Monday - tell me a story....

Hi Everyone....this week's theme on MMM is "Tell me a story" so I thought I would share some Published work from a Children's literature magazine I worked on in 2007....this story is a very interesting take on a Stepmother story with a scary end....the magazine was more about the darker side of children's lit and it was fun to work on....I also love looking at my older work and seeing how I have grown from the past.....and now for the story.....

My current Project...well a sneak peek anyway...

I was delighted to hear from a Publisher in BC about illustrating a short story ....the story is a wicked, little anti-fairy tale that starts off sweet and happy, but ends with a delightfully-evil twist...the story really grew on me after a while...I read and re-read it over and over to get a feel for the characters....



I added an extra small image of my first illustration ok 2 one of the woman in the story too( a sneak Peek) ....more to come once it's published!
