Illustration Friday .....Duet

Henry and his special singing Bird travels to all the fun Carnivals to perform their special duets......Henry loves Trudy his singing bird and they even sang together in the shower of all places.....

This is my take on the theme this week for Illustration Friday....I want to keep using my vintage dictionary pages for backgrounds....and this is what came to life....

Illustration Friday - "burning"

As soon as I read the theme this week....and since it is breakfast time here...I immediately thought of something I hate...burning toast....

so I did a quick little 5 minute sketch and these guys came to life...

meet Sally the Toaster....she always thought way too hard when she was working and sometimes she really burned her friends Larry and Moe....needless to say it wasn't a good way to start the day.....but after some scrapping and a JAM session....things were back to normal....

Mixed Media Monday - Just hanging out! nothing like a nice Holiday Dinner....

Hi Everyone....for me the Holidays are all about "Just hanging out" with Family and Friends...sharing in wonderful Holiday Traditions and wonderful Holiday food....

Cole and Mommy's latest book....

I think we will be reading this before bedtime atleast twice a week....ok ....make it three times...

Brad and I designed this special bookshelf for Cole for his first Christmas and we bought him every one of our favorite picture books....can you tell we love our stories....
