Rainy weekend...but in our minds it can always be a sunny day at the beach...

Not sure how your weekend was....here it was rainy and stormy all weekend...

I pulled out this sketch and decided it was time to finish it in colour....so in light of the fact that it was an indoor weekend....I wanted to think of the water and sunnier days...

Happy Canada Day! Back from a Long Weekend up at Wasaga Beach

Happy Canada Day!

We just got home from a nice long weekend up at our Family Cottage in Wasaga Beach....
It was a great time and we enjoyed so many wonderful outings and food of course...

I will be doing my draw from my 251st post later this week so pop by to see if you won....today we will be enjoying friends and swimming and some great food...

My Dad BBQ'd some whole chickens that he butterflied over the bon fire pit...he is one of the best wood bbq'ers I know...

Drawing in the ICU - Day 17 of 21 Day Creative Exercise....

Hi Everyone....

I am very sad to say that there have been no improvements with my Father-in-Law...I keep hoping and praying that one morning things will all turn around....he is in very critical condition and I am very afraid of what the future will bring for him...

I am with him and while I wait in the ICU I draw to take my mind off of things....today's sketch is of 2 children playing at the beach...another one of my fond memories....

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers...your messages bring me some comfort in a very hectic time....
