Sunday Sketches....a row of houses....soon to be one of my printing blocks....

Hi Everyone....so great to see you here today.....I had a blast working on this printing block....I did my sketch first and then carved out my lines and am currently testing out some printing with this block.....what a super fun medium this is....I am still on my house kick and am having so much fun creating these fun little streets with the cutest homes.....imagining who lives in each and what is happening behind those closed doors!!!

I am sharing these sketches with all of my friends over at Sunday Sketches...hosted by Sophia.....a wonderful group of super talented people that love to sketch......

Happy Sunday Everyone....and Happy Creating!!!

WOW! Amazing! What is the printing block made of?

I used to do lots of lino printing and it is so much fun... I love the smooth inks and glossy results... and the convenience of multiples... just no downside really... except maybe the fact that with my coordination I go close to taking an arm off every time I do it.... even have two little scars on my hand to prove that I'm not exaggerating.... just hopeless... I am sure you do yours without blood being spilled and it the results will be fantastic... can't wait to see them...xx

Gros bisous

This is great. When I see new things like this I always have to pull back on the tempatation to rush out to the nearest art store and buy all the kit so I can have a go myself!!
