Sunday Postcard Art - Theme - "Springtime" - mixing a Spring photo with my illustrations....

Many of you know this from the past...but I love flowers and I love honey bees...Ever since I was a wee little girl I remember my Dad and his bees...he was a bee keeper in our forest and he loved taking care of these wonderful little creatures that create gold....

He taught me a lot about them and how important they are...so as soon as I saw this week's theme over at Sunday Postcard Art...I immediately thought of flowers and I also thought about the wonderful bees that would love my tulips...so here is a piece mixing my photography with my illustrations....

now "Bee" good everyone.....

Diana, that is so pretty and you always think so creatively! I think your father had one of the most important jobs in the Universe. We need to protect our bees... xoxoxo

Sorry, I have to make a pun here .... BEE-utiful!! I love your bees and the photo of your tulips. I am very envious as it is well nigh impossible to grow tulips here in south-western Australia because it is never cold enough to set the bulbs and the alternative of keeping in the fridge crisper for a few weeks rarely works!!

Bee-utiful! (Sorry, couldn't help that).Diana your photo and bees are gorgeous. I envy you the tulips as they are almost impossible to grow in this part of the world because winters are not cold enough to set the bulbs. The alternative is storing bulbs in fridge crispers for two months before planting but it rarely works.
