I'm Back...Day 19 of 21 Day Creative Exercise...

Hi Everyone...

The Funeral was yesterday and it was one of the hardest days ever....I wrote the Eulogy for my Father-in-Law and could barely read it at the service...

It was a nice and sunny day...just like Dad would have wanted....

Today was my first day with colour in a while...I took one of my illustrations from last week and watercoloured it....

Hope you enjoy it...

Cheers,

Diana

Hi Diana,
It feels strange to think other people are going through the same thing when something like this happens because sometimes it feels like you're the only one. People keep telling me it's a natural process, blah blah, but the reality of my OWN mortality has been on my mind more since my father-in-law died. It's really made me rethink my life and the meaning of relationships. I feel this experience has pushed me into a new start which is a good thing. :)
Your picture is so pretty with the colours!
Much love, Jess.

It is so good to have you back. I am still so very sorry for your family's loss.
Your artwork, as always, is bright and thoughtful. It conveys warmth not only from the colors you use but from the scenes you convey. Lovely job.

My sympathies Diana. Having lost so many family members, I know how this feels. It takes time to grieve. Make sure you all take that time.
