Day 8 of 21 Day Creative Exercise - creating while I cook...yumm!

Hi Everyone...

I made you a special cup of coffee or tea...so we can visit...

Hard to believe it is day 8 of my creative journey with this exercise...what a fun it has been each and every day....

Today I felt like making a homemade pizza from scratch (had to post some photos...you know me and food...lol) so while it was baking Cole and I painted ...I had a lot of fun with these...I especially have a love for giraffes...ever since we took our son to the Zoo last summer and he was so excited to see the "big" giraffe....what a great time

I love homemade pizza...
anything baking with a bread base smells pretty good!
Have a wonderful day and pop by all week...
Cheers,
Diana

Great frog and giraffe! And the pizza was tasty as well!! :)

The zoo is one of my favorite places to go, not necessarily to draw, but just to get away. Ours has beautiful gardens throughout, a great play area and waterpark for the kids, and great animal exhibits. it is amazing how it has changed over the 30 or so years I remember visiting!

Hi Tom...

we go to this zoo in Elmvale...and it is the most amazing place...it is small but has so many wonderful animals...we love it!

the zoo is a fun place ....amazing how things change over the years...when I was growing up we had a drive thru zoo..African Lion Safari...and I remember the monkeys destroying my Dad's car...it was priceless...we laughed and laughed...

what a great blog - I just found it! Your art is amazing, I wish I scanned more art and put it on my blog, maybe my goal for the second 1/2 of 2008. And the picture of pizza has made me very hungry! Look forward to following your blog.

That pizza looks mouthwatering and I love the shape. I never think to make it in a rectangle, always a circle. =)
I am glad to hear you rec'd the ATC. It was fun creating something inspired by all your yummy confections. Oh and the giraffe is fabulous... it is such a quirky and sweet animal.
Have a good day!

I miss experimental cooking. My husband is super picky and it is just not worth it anymore! I love love love cooking gourmet. I've made mad hatter cakes out of fondant, fancy schmancy tiramisu, you name it. But not so much anymore! I am going to post my mad hatter cake on my blog just for you to enjoy.
That pizza looks delightful, yummy!
