Like your crisp and colourful drawing; of course it remind me of how we used to spit mouthsful of watermelon seeds at one another as a kid.

nice work on your watermelon. I really like the colours

Mmmmm, delicious! The speaker who suggested the 21 day exercise is a writer (Laurie Halse Anderson)and part of her advice for making time was to write/paint anywhere; in a car, in the bathroom, waiting in line, etc. Your stolen moments approach is right in line with that!

Of course! Watermelon is a ball of seeds surrounded by flesh. I like the blue background. This watermelon is a real come on on a hot day.

That is one of the cheeriest watermelons I've ever seen.
You captured it's spirit with the "seeds" and blanket stitch edging.

A total comfort / happy slice!
