Drawing in the ICU....Day 16 of 21 Day Creative Exercise

Hi Everyone...

Still at the hospital hoping for a miracle...here is my sketch for day 16...I was inspired by warm and cozy thoughts of our family camp outs when I was a wee little girl.....

we would roast marshmallows and sit by the bon fire all night...great times...I just looked at the Arty Girlz Challenge for this week and the theme is "Travel Places" what a coincidence...so I added it there too...

these memories and my sketch book have been helping me through these days...I pray each day that a miracle will happen....

I will colour these in the near future and re-post them....

Diana

I love your sketch. I actually like them in black and white like that. The trees in the back are so wonderfully stylized.

Hi Diana - this is really special and my favorite of your recent drawings. It feels personal/intimate, as do most of these images you've been posting from the ICU. I'm so sorry for your loss.
