Snowed in with some Holiday Baking....Happy 80th Birthday Grandma! and some snow storms!!! what fun!

Hi Everyone...

With each day we are having more and more Holiday fun...

Friday we had our first major snow storm...it was beautiful...we stayed in and baked cookies all day...listened to Christmas music and sampled our yummy treats....

Saturday we all headed out to celebrate my Grandmother's 80th Birthday.....you all remember her from my Daily Art Stop Apple Fritter post.....

We had a wonderful time.....and today we are getting another snow storm...so you know it will be a White Christmas....and I wouldn't have it any other way.....so today I post some snow shots...and some cookies shots....I wish you could all come by and share in a hot cocoa and some sweet treats.....

Have a wonderful Holiday Season Everyone!!!!
May you share in the true meaning of this Magical time of year and take a moment to realize all the wonder around you.....

Hugs and Best Wishes....
Diana

blueberry and strawberry buttery cutouts....

my brown sugar pressed cookies....I add some nutmeg so they are perfect with a cup of eggnog! I made them into gingerbread men and

Santas.....of course

Chocolate and coconut cookies...with some added chocolate ganache...I came up with these on my own....yummm!

I came up with these too...they don't look that great but who can resist chocolate and peanut butter....

Lime shortbread trees...I think these are one of my favorites too...I love everything with lime....

another recipe I concocted....lol...buttery cookie rounds topped with homemade dulce de leche...and then topped with skor toffee pieces...yummm!!!

oh and I also dabbled with this a bit and made a chocolate cookie dough with chocolate mint ganache in the middles and mint icing drizzled on top....

Hi Diana,
This is quite a lay out of cookies.
They all look so yummy but I'm partial to the lime shortbread & is that frosting on there?? OMG...they look so good!!
A very happy birthday to your Grandma!I do remember her from your earlier post...her & your mother. Have a great week Diana, I know what an exciting time this has to be for Cole. It's so much fun to have young children present to enjoy Christmas. I'll bet he can't wait for Santa.
Hugs, Diane

oh my lord diana! you have baked up a storm! My goodness...I feel guilty, I didn't make a single thing this year...I fought off several colds/flues this year and just never made it!! This all looks wonderful! I did manage to make my gifts though.
you are definitely one of the people I am referring to. It has been wonderful getting to know you over the past year and your encouragement's meaning cannot be measured.
