My recycled wooden Santa doll Centerpieces....my submission for Media Monday "Paper Doll/ Art Doll"

Hi Everyone...

I wanted to show some of my dimensional work....these Santa and snowman dolls are made from re-cycled wood from a local furniture shop.....they get rid of scraps and I am lucky enough to be able to take it and bring it to life....I draw and then cut the wooden pieces, then do some carving...and then assemble and paint.....

I started these years ago and make more each year...they become happy centerpieces for family and friends....

Hope you enjoy them.... and don't forget to pop by Daily Art Stop....today we feature foodie Monday treats you can make with the whole family....

Hugs
Diana

Your santa and snowman is wonderful, like the way you put it all together and make a christmas scenery.

You are supreme. I'd cut my fingers if I did anything with shaping wood. I would really love to watch you create art. I have been thinking about having tea or coffee with some of my favorite artist bloggers and you are definitely on my list.

I love your wooden Santas! Too bad we can't get together so we could have a wooden Santa convention. I have a collection of about 30 of them, about half of which I made myself. Isn't it fun how each develops his own personality as you go along?

You are one talented girl! Sometimes I'll break into my hubby's power tools to achieve an idea, but I've never tried cutting wood to this extent. Now I wanna!
You are so inspiring, my little muse!
