More Christmas....some of my special ornaments...

Hi Everyone...

to know me is to know how much I love traditions and everything about Christmas....the sweetest gift for me is a special ornament with meaning....

it would blow your mind if you spent the night looking at all the special ornaments we have collected over the years...but each and every one of them bring a smile to me each and every year....

Years ago before I was a full time artist I found some special pieces created by Karen Rossi that I had to have....The first being "the Bride" I received from Brad ....she is the neatest metal sculpture ornament ever....and I have more....my other most favorite Karen Rossi is called "The Artist" .....These are all called "Fanciful Flights" and I love them and still collect them....they are magical....

I also have cupid, art nouveau fanciful flight angel, and the gardener.... all things that I love to do....I love being a wife, I love art, I love angels and cupid, and I love gardening......

I woke up today and thought it was Friday....lol....I just gained a day...how exciting.....

I finished glittering all 40 Christmas cards I made and wrote them out and addressed them....now for some other stuff off my list.....

Hugs
Diana

see the cool things the artist holds....from her paint tubes to her artist pallet...she is wonderful...

Those are great ornaments! I love the fact that pretty much everything on my tree is handmade from my family's ornament exchange throughout the years. I have so many that I couldn't possibly fit them all on the tree! So I have to get creative in ways to display them. Traditions are so nice. Gives me the warm fuzzies just thinking about them. And I know Cole is going to have so many special memories when he grows up.

I love the ornaments...and the collecting them over time. My friend buys me and my children an ornament every year. That way we can look back over time and see our history twined together. Some things you just can't put a price on. I don't think the boys would care if she didn't give them "gift" but would be sad if they didn't get their ornament. :-)

Those ornaments are really cool. I have never heard of them, but it is fun when you find a collection that you look forward to adding to each year. I used to collect Furlong ornaments, which were these beautiful angels based on shells, I have about 10 of them - unfortunately, they are no longer made and hard to find. I am also jealous that your cards are completed! I still have to write out ours. =)

Oh WOW!! Diana they are all totally amazing and I love the tradition of adding the same ornaments to the tree each year with new ones. Mind you I'm not too good at it myself but I do love to keep all the ones the kids have made me. They will always hold precious memories for me :D

Neat ornaments! :) Traditions are especially meaningful after kids. It is hard to imagine until they are there and then you understand how certain things were important to your mother. LOL
