Sweet Saturdays - Week # 006...spent a night in Paris with my Mom...virtual Paris...it was amazing!

Hi Everyone...if this is your first time here ...Sweet Saturdays is a weekly challenge to post something Sweet on your blog and share your link with us here....it can be anything sweet you want to share....a photo, a recipe, an art piece ...anything .....and add your link here every Saturday.....

This will help remind us that life is sweet and little things can make a big difference....

This week I am showing you some party photos I took Friday Night at the most amazing Paris inspired Shower....I went with my Mom and we had the time of our lives....there was amazing food and special drinks made for the party....

an oh la la tini and a eiffel tini...they even had 2 caricature artists at the party and we had a blast and a half with them......and if you think sweets ...wow...the sweet table was so big I couldn't get it in a photo....so I took plenty of little close ups....

Over 400 Women attended this amazing night in Paris......


So here is all the sweetness......

the sweets were amazing....never ending....over 400 women attended this bash!!!

My wonderful Mom getting her caricature drawn up....this was a blast!!!

The piece Bruce the Illustrator created of me and my Sweet Mom!!!

He also did one of my alone!!!!

and I had a photo of my cute son Cole with me so he made one for him too!!! how cute is that!!!

and there was another Illustrator there that did this piece of me....I am painting a cupcake with pink paint....hehehehehe....

and here are the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes I made for this party....they were all gone!!!!

I even molded some fun chocolates for the tops of these cupcakes....

and we came home with this fun and amazing gift!!! a centerpiece...a miniature Eiffel Tower and enough sweets for the whole weekend!!! and then some!!!

Lights ....Cameras.....ACTION!

I love working on fun commissions for clients....and I love cameras...so this project was super fun and I really enjoyed it....My Client needed a fun camera for her Business....and here are the cameras I created.....

I don't know about you ....but I take my camera everywhere I go....I take photos of things that inspire me....food and decor....it is amazing how many times I take a photo each and every day.....

Then there are times I forget to bring along my good camera....like yesterday when I went to this super fun Bridal Shower...it was a feast for the eyes...and all I had was my Blackberry....but that didn't stop me from taking some shots....so here is some fun shots of inspirations at this party!!!

treats I packed up for home ....all my favorites!!!!! and yes those are French macarons!!!!

the view was spectacular!!! what a great place.....

My Mom won the gorgeous Tulips and I had to snap a shot when we came to my place before she took them home.....

a yummy crepe bowl filled with amazing ice cream and mixed berries....it was divine!!!

What about you? Do you have to have a camera with you at all times? are you taking photos of food like me? or decor? 

My friends always laugh when I take photos of food....but food is amazing and I love taking photos of food!!!

and they do love seeing the photos of food I take....so maybe it is not that weird after all....lol

Illustration Friday - "Sugary"

Local Bakery Art Dedicated to all my "Sweet" Blog Friends...& my Arty Girlz Challenge - "Shapes"

Hi Everyone...

This week's challenge on Arty Girlz is Shapes and I wanted to create something yummy and fun with this theme...so here it is....

It's dedicated to a local bakery in my town...I am so in love with cute little bakeries....I feel like a kid walking by and I have to stop and stare...

Everything about bakeries is amazing...the cuteness...the great scent of freshly baked goods and of course eating some yummy treats....like cupcakes and cookies....yummm!

This special baker, creates wonderful treats in all shapes and sizes....no one can just walk by without picking up a yummy treat....she wraps them up in the cutest pink boxes and ties them with some ribbon.....


I also dedicate this to all of you....
my "SWEET" blog friends...

we will call this a virtual bakery where we can eat treats and drink some lattes...
