Let it Snow, Let it Snow...Let it Snow...created by hand - I'm Blue

Snowman Horizon

Hi Everyone....I can't believe that it is almost the end of November and we still haven't had any snow...not one itsy bitsy ...teeny weeny ....white snowflake from the heavens...I always love that first snowfall...especially when the snowflakes are huge and look like they are falling in slow motion....then they land on your eyelashes and melt....oh I can't wait to take that first walk in the snow....

I enjoy each and every season but the snow to me is so beautiful....it sparkles like diamonds in the sunshine...and reminds me of my childhood when we used to make snow angels and create the coolest snowmen around....

that is the other thing I can't wait to do with Cole..make our first snowman of the season!!! carrot nose and all....I am submitting this to created by hand this week...The snowman is blue and so am I ....missing snowflakes!!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
Hugs
Diana

Beautiful work! I love the blazing sun with the snowmen!
So ... I'll confess.... I had so much more snow in Ottawa than where you are when I was growing up. I've had a bad winter attitude but last few years I'm embracing winter!! Yay! So here's to the first snowfall!!

Hi Diana, here in Germany it´s kind of spring weather.
Nevertheless, I am very much in a Christmas - mood and I loke your sweet winter- painting.

very nice card. Love your images. But please don't wish for snow. Sheesh. I'm soooo happy the ground is bare and it's really still fall like here. Maybe winter won't feel so long this way.

Adorable Diana! Reading this almost (and I mean, ALMOST) made me want snow too! hehe
I agree, the first snowfall is beautiful and there's a coziness to it all, but our winters drag out so long and bitterly cold sometimes that it wears down my soul.
We've had such a beautiful fall so hopefully this year winter will be a little shorter :)
Thanks so much for your visit and kind words!!

Diana, this just may be my favorite ever!!! Everything about it just makes my heart leap with JOY! You are almost too prolific in your art for me to keep up. My little Debville had quite a blizzard...I'll post pics soon.

So cute Diana! I know. . . I hope we get a good snowfall here in Maryland. That doesn't usually happen until January or so.

On another note. . . I have been crazy busy painting and re-arranging things around the house to get it ready for the holidays and to stage it for when we put it on the market. But I just had to stop by for a second and check on your beautiful blog!

Oh, Diana! Wow, I'm always so amazed when I stop by and see all the delicious work you have cooked up. Nom nom nom on that cake, honey! I am in search of the perfect layer cake, and I think I may have just found it! Happy birthday to your wonderful brother, as well. And COLE! Wow, look at his great birdhouse! The strokes go with the grain, isn't that wonderful?

Your sunflower clocks are heavenly. I love the shadows of the hands. It is a stunning, stunning piece. And here, your sweet little snowman, so patiently waiting for more snow. Awwww. I'm with you. I love a good snowfall, the kind where the flakes are huge and drifty. It's one of the best sounds in the world, the silence of a snowfall, isn't it? Oh, how I long for it. Well, I hope it comes soon, and I hope you take lots of pictures of your first romp in the snow with your darling boy.

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving, to you and your family. Thanks for your friendship, and thanks for your sweet comment.
