WOW! That is just beautiful! It is not easy to do, either! I bought a woodburner a few months ago and all my l little "doodles" looked like a kindergartener's drawings, LOL! You really made the lines flow beautifully! :)

I had never heard of "pyrography" before and was bowled over by your stunning art piece. I have seen Australian aboriginal art where burning into wood is used to make patterns on stylised animals but nothing as sophisticated as this, of course. Wonderful work.

I'm much impressed with this work, Diana! Somewhere, in the depths of my stash of art/crafts tried and tucked away, is my woodburner. This makes me want to get it out and try it again!! She's elegant, and wonderfully done. Kudos to you.

Diana, she certainly does qualify as "glamorous." What a work of art. I can't imagine doing this sort of art with a wood burning tool. Beautiful. Hello to Minnie, a real glamour-girl.

Beautiful Diana!
I have bought a woodburner in Montreal, but I guess it will take a lot of practise before I can make something pretty.......
You are a crack at this!

Diana, this is beautiful....my father does wood work, not pyrography, but some 3-D designs and intarsia. I really like the pointillated (?) on this this! Teri
