10 Minute Warm Up....added some colour to my Olives.....Join this fun challenge!!!!

Hi Everyone....Tuesday and I am feeling a little tired this morning....I haven't had my coffee yet....but I did take 10 Minutes to work on the olives I sketched to bring them to you on picks in colour this morning....With Olives.....there are the people that love them and the people that hate them....so I hope most of you are lovers and not haters....lol.....Off for some coffee and then I will be back to wander in Blogland.....

10 Minute Warm Up Monday.....I love olives!!!

Hi Everyone...and Happy Monday....This past weekend was the first weekend in a long time that I totally was off line....something I never ever do....but I forced myself to just take the whole weekend off....and it was nice to just focus on other things....the outdoors....biking...visiting family and friends....and sharing and making new memories....It was lovely but I am happy to return to the world of blogging....and my 10 Minute Warm Ups.....I have missed these!!! Today I doodled some olives....onions....toothpicks and an orange or lemon slice....It was fun to just enjoy some sketching this morning.....Happiness!!!! I hope you will join me!!!

My Art on NBC!!!! amazing news I can finally share with you all!!!

Hi Everyone....

I am so excited to share some amazing news with you....It all started last October....October 24th to be exact.....I got the most amazing e-mail ever....from NBC of all places.... 

In the e-mail they asked about some of my work and would like to purchase my art for use on an upcoming show and would like me to sign some clearance release papers so they can .....can you believe it!!! NBC!!!! what a day!!! so exciting!!! 

I did mention something amazing happened to me way back when but wanted to wait to let you all know.........and the day has finally arrived for me to share it!!!  The name of the Show that Premiers on May 23rd 2013 is  Save me.....

One of my paintings on the set is 4 feet tall!! so it will be hard to miss....I feel so truly blessed to be able to create art every day and to feel like I am living my dreams.....This is a huge huge accomplishment for me in my art career and I still to this day have to pinch myself....

I hope you will all watch the show and try and spot my artwork!!!

Today I am sharing a painting I did of the star of the show...Anne Heche.....it is an ink and watercolour and I am so proud to share this and my news with you all...I created it as a little reminder that dreams really do come true....because I still feel like I am dreaming.....

10 Minute Warm Up.....Is anyone up for a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich?

Hi Everyone....and Happy Thursday....

Today I was in a bit of a slump so I had no idea what to warm up with....so I made my coffee and sat with my sketchbook....and for some reason....a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich popped into my head....so this piece below is  my 10 Minute Warm Up.....

I had so much fun with it that I took another 10 minutes to just play around with it and then created the two coloured pieces above.....I am telling you ....you have to try this Warm Up thing out....you will love it and get inspired by the weirdest things....Then you will start each and every day with a little creativity....and fun....and who doesn't need that?

WOYWW - My 10 Minute Warm Up...turns into a new cover in my line.....

10 Minute Warm Up.....Tuesday.....

Happy Tuesday Everyone....

Hope you are all having a great start to the week....I just enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and worked on my 10 Minute Warm Up for today.....I added some colour to the piece I worked Sunday....I am in love with Sunflowers....I even wrote my first Picture Book about Sunflowers....

We all went biking on  a new trail by our home yesterday and it was so much fun....I am feeling it in my legs today....but it was so worth it....I finally got a new bike I love and I am hoping that this will become our daily family fun....

The weather is gorgeous and the birds are singing and the grass is getting greener....and it feels so much when you can get some fresh air!!!

Now all I need is more warmth and the start of Gardening Season....

Happy Earth Day....10 Minute Warm Up with our munchkin.....

Happy Earth Day Everyone....today we had to spend some time on Earth Day for our Warm Up....so we painted our hands like the Earth and made hand prints....then we drew the Earth and painted our fingers to be people all around the World.....The whole point is to make a commitment to do our best to take care of the Earth....our home....and the home of all the wonderful animals and plants that sustain and keep us.....There is so much we can do....and even though each step may be little ...they all add up.....I even found this amazing site where you can learn about alternatives to current harmful products and make your own recipes for safer ones.....here is the link....
