Sunday Breakfast - New Traditions!

Hi Everyone...

Our tradition is to have special Pancakes every Sunday...

Over the last few weeks we have been getting together with friends to enjoy a nice late breakfast...Well today I hosted a Special Breakfast with all of our friends....we had 20 people and it was the greatest time...I had a blast cooking....from 5 pounds of bacon, a 12 pound ham, 40 eggs...and 50 pancakes....it was a lot of fun and this new tradition keeps going....we decided to have it hosted by a special group each time...what fun...so I am back to working on some projects and will have some new fun artwork all week...so pop by and say HI!

Cheers,

Diana

For two years I cooked the Friday evening Friendship Dinner for a hundred people when it was our groups turn, that was fun until the program director started telling me how I had to do everything.

I don't need someone telling me how to do something, I've cooked in cafes and had a food handlers card and don't like idiot directors that don't know what they are talking about fussing at me so I told him to take a flying f*** at a rolling donut.

Breakfast is my favorite meal to cook, did them a lot of Sundays when I was raising a family.

In the future I will tell others to take a flying f*** at a rolling cupcake. LOL

You cooked up a storm! Speaking of "fail" for IF, I would totally fail at cooking for 20 people. It's rough with just me and Ken!
You're like a superhero. seriously.

That sounds like so much fun and a whole lot of eggs! I was quite proud of myself for making french toast for my husband and I on Sunday morning, but I don't know how well it would turn out if I had to multiply it by 20! Well done! x

Sounds like a great tradition. We are moving into a new neighborhood end of this month, maybe you have inspired me to start a cooking tradition with new friends.

Oh, I have so missed your cooking! Nice to see a new menu item here. I could use a late breakfast myself. :) Love the "Yummy" sketches. I am just going to pull up a chair and help myself.

What a lovely setting this sounds like... although cooking all of that food may not have been as relaxing as sitting down to eat it.
Nice work on your new series piece too, I love the details in the ribbons that you added.
Thanks for sharing,
Lisa
