Mixed Media Monday - Harmony....My favorite way to entertain...

Hi Everyone...

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend!

This week's theme on Mixed Media Monday is "Harmony"....

and I started to do an ink sketch....of what makes me feel harmonious....and this just came to me....I love hosting huge weekend breakfasts with family and friends....it is such a nice way to start the day....

I love cooking all kinds of breakfast goodies and sitting and relaxing over some great laughs and wonderful stories...now that is "Harmony"

This is my "Breakfast Gal" she has a bacon body, fresh squeezed orange arms, a nice sunny side egg for a hat....what fun....

I also added my latest breakfast gadgets...these sunny side up egg cookers...they are perfect for a smile...hehehehe

Day 7 of 21 Day Creative Exercise...Another fun Breakfast with Friends and some art that is perfect for Mixed Media Monday's Theme...

Hi Everyone...

What a wonderful Sunday...we spent the early part of the day with all our friends and our new found tradition of the Big Breakfast Gathering...

We enjoyed the wonderful weather and played outdoors....it was a wonderful time with many laughs and memories....

Later on I had some fun with my new found love for mini-watercolour paintings....

Now I am working on some Wedding invitations for my wonderful brother and my sister-in-law to be...what fun!

Today is day 7 of my 21 day Creative Exercise and I thought about shoes all day...heheheh...

Sunday Breakfast - New Traditions!

Hi Everyone...

Our tradition is to have special Pancakes every Sunday...

Over the last few weeks we have been getting together with friends to enjoy a nice late breakfast...Well today I hosted a Special Breakfast with all of our friends....we had 20 people and it was the greatest time...I had a blast cooking....from 5 pounds of bacon, a 12 pound ham, 40 eggs...and 50 pancakes....it was a lot of fun and this new tradition keeps going....we decided to have it hosted by a special group each time...what fun...so I am back to working on some projects and will have some new fun artwork all week...so pop by and say HI!

Yummy Sketch of the Day - the first for 2008! - Breakfast - the works

After ringing in the New Year it's always nice to get a yummy breakfast in....2 eggs over easy, some bacon, hash browns and a steamy cup of coffee....
