Today's theme was a tough one...at first I was going to do something fun like a little kid with a failing grade...but then I thought about the cover idea I submitted too late to the New Yorker....
The true meaning of fail was me not getting it there in time....

I had a hard time with the theme of FAIL too, but I like your spin on it, as it is something very relatable to many an artist in the field. Interesting illustration with really great vibrant color... maybe it will find a home with another magazine?!

Well, it's a personal "fail" in that you missed a deadline..but the piece itself gets an A+!

but the illustration is a winner to me! I like their outfits.
Whether or not you failed to get this in on time.....just know that it is a very meaningful piece. I love your use of vibrant colours and the way that you can incorporate so many details....one has to look at your pieces again and again.
Your failure is their loss!! It is so lovely.
