Food Art - yummm!

Hi Everyone...

Most people who know me know that I have another passion besides art....and that passion is cooking...

I love creating tasty treats each and every day....it is so much fun!

Lastnight I cut up a few pork tenderloins and spiced them up with garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil etc....then let them marinate ....

I then skewered them with onions, red peppers and green peppers...bbq'd them ....I made a larger version of my potatoe flower and also an endive and kidney bean salad...oh yes and my homemade special sauce inspired by tzatziki sauce...
It was very delish! I also took most of today off and played hookie....went outside to enjoy the great weather and visited my parents...My Mom also has a passion for cooking and she made a wonderful lunch.....

Back to the Drawing Board now...Hope you pop by again tomorrow for some art...

Cheers,
Diana

I made a very good casserole this morning. Nothing fancy, just basic, but very good.

Looks yummy!
Cooking is at the bottom of things I love to do or even like to do. So I really admire you.

That skewered pork and vegetables looks good! It would go really wee with a tzatziki like sauce for dipping.

I'm so hungry now. I guess I'll have to eat something gross, since I don't have much of a culinary passion.
your food looks like HEAVEN!

Your meal looks delicious! I don't enjoy cooking and only do it when I have to.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my art blog.
