Pick one ....anyone!!!! How do you like your French Macarons?

Hi Everyone....

I don't know what it is.....but often times I find myself creating paintings as inspired by all things Parisian.....like these delightful treats called Macarons....I think anything in small pretty packages makes me happy.....and colours...anything that is created in colour makes me feel so happy too....

I have a new French Macaron  piece titled.....Pick one....anyone? or shall I say it in French....

"choisir une, personne"

I just added prints of this painting to my Main Shop.....hope you pick one up...would make a fun art piece in any kitchen.....or sweet little girl's room.....
 
We just celebrated our Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and it was so much fun to share in festivities with family.....we even went around the dinner table telling everyone what we are most Thankful for...it was touching and sweet......

Paint Party Friday.....look at the cute visitor in our Garden......

Hi Everyone......

We were so super thrilled when we walked outside and kept seeing these two doves.....they are always around and our son loves them.....then one day I was outside and noticed that they hung around one of our old spiral evergreens and saw this cute little dove peeking at me from the bush...

I then looked a little harder and found that they have one egg in a cute little nest in our tree.....so we are thrilled to have these new guests visiting us while they grow their family.....


and they inspired my latest ink and watercolour painting that I am sharing with all of my talented friends over at Paint Party Friday.....I hope you all take a moment to look around at all of the amazing art links on that special blog.....

Painting some tulips with my little Artist......

Hi Everyone....what a wonderful Spring day....filled with all the things that inspire us to create something....Today we were out enjoying our tulips and thought it was a perfect inspiration for our watercolour paintings today....so munchkin and I decided to paint and you can see our paintings and our tulips that inspired our work today.....I love spending these sweet moments with our son.....His work always makes me as happy as can be and I will treasure these moments forever....

Every once and a while I get all inspired with my watercolours and inks...and now I have added my metalic liquid acrylics to the mix....

More Creative Days with Cole...this is one of my favorites...

Hi Everyone....some of my favorite special moments are the ones where I get to create with our son Cole...he loves to paint and every day he tells me "Mommy, Cole wants to paint"....how could I say not now....with some of the wonderful work he has been putting out...I decided to get him some fine french watercolour paper and now he has full use of all my good watercolour paints....

He loves it when he gets to use Mommy's Paint....and I am so very proud of him.....The finished piece is framed below....
