Paint Party Friday....

Hi Everyone....we had a wonderful night....today was the last day of School and we headed to our favorite place to walk through a wonderful and Magical park filled with lights....it was pure Holiday Magic.....

Today I am sharing a custom painting I did of a sweet little girl.....I love to work on custom watercolours....so much fun!!!

We have a few weeks off with our little man and are super excited about all the fun festivities we have in store with our amazing Family and Friends.....

Paint Party Friday....and some 10 Minute Warm up fun with my Painting......

Hi Everyone...Happy Paint Party Friday!!! We had our first Soccer Game last night and it was so much fun to watch all the children playing! It was so sweet and my parents even came out to watch and enjoy the game too.....our team won!!! I also hope that you all caught the latest two episodes of Save Me starring Anne Heche ......and did you find any of my art on the set yet?

I am sharing another painting with you all....remember last week I mentioned the client that wanted paintings of every single home she has lived in....well this is another piece....a beautiful place in New York City....one of my favorite cities!!!

I created an ink and watercolour for her and then took my 10 Minute Warm up time and played around with the painting to change and see it in different ways....Had a lot of fun as you can tell....

Paint Party Friday.....Creating a special keepsake.....

Hi Everyone....Happy Paint Party Friday....

I am happy to share  a little painting I did for a Special Birthday boy....my cousin just turned 30 and I thought it would be sweet to make him a special painting of his little baby boy.  I worked from a photo of his son on the exact day he turned 30....so I painted this sweet painting and added the number 30 to his shirt so it will be a special keepsake for his Birthday.....I love working on custom paintings.....I have 4 new commissions I am working on and they are all homes of a client....I will share these when I have them complete!!!!

Hi Everyone.... Wonderful to have you here again this week...I thought I would share another custom painting I did for a special client....this piece was so much fun to work on and I hope she loves this as much as I loved creating it....

This piece is ink and watercolour and I love this medium...it is one of my favorite ways to create custom work......If you would like something custom created for you....I would love to work on it....

Paint Party Friday...ink and watercolour custom painting...

Hi Everyone....

I worked on this special painting for a special lady that just turned Fab 40 and it was so much fun....I really love working on custom paintings....I have been working away on all kinds of new things...from Clay and Cloth dolls to miniature folk art dolls....and will share some of my projects as I finish them......I am also working on some more new custom paintings and will share these in the coming weeks also....

Sunday Sketches.....a new painting for a special couple....

I just went to a fab Wedding last night for my cousin and had to create something sweet for the Happy Couple..so I worked on this special painting for them.....just dropped it off for my parents to deliver to the after party today.....and now I need some sleep!!!

Paint Party Friday.....

Hi Everyone...

Hope you are all having a super amazing summer....I am so sad that there is only one week left before school officially starts...wow...The summer looked like it would last forever....but you know what they say..."Time flies when you're having fun" and it sure has....

I  am taking in all the wonder of summer and enjoying every last moment....and with that I am sharing a new Commission I just finished for a super client....You may have seen These chairs a few times around my blog...well this time I have added a water skier....

What's on my workspace ...Wednesday....

Hi Everyone....

This week I am super busy which is always a good thing....Today I am finishing some custom paintings for a special client and then I will be back to Corporate logos and package designs...I wish I could share some of these super cool projects with you as I go...but sadly I can't.....

I am sharing what I have on my workspace with all of my friends over at "What's on your workspace, Wednesdays...better late than never!!!!

Custom Canvas for Cole...Arty Girlz Submission for "hint of pink" the flower in the mongoose's hair and the second piece's balloon....

On Cole's First Birthday last year I started a new tradition...to create a special canvas for him on each Birthday....

The second photo below is his first Birthday canvas....I get commissioned to work on these with clients and it's fun to work on these for Cole...

This year I created a special one incorporating all of his most favorite things....

Minnie his dog, the mongoose, a monkey, cake, balloons, the monster truck he carries everywhere.... and cake of course....oh yeah and hats...he is addicted to hats...lol....

I will finish all the details of this piece and also use it in designing the Birthday invites....

Yummy Sketch of the Day - Lasagna and some fun updates...

Hi Everyone....

Today I am featuring a big slice of Lasagna....Kathleen mentioned she has a delish recipe for meatless lasagna...so maybe she will feature her recipe for everyone!!!

I hope it fills you up and makes you feel warm...

The weekend seemed to fly by...Friday was a wonderful time with all of my friends...we laughed so hard and they enjoyed my cupcakes...

I am working on so many new illustrations and some new paintings....the illustrations are for children's lit work and I have a series of cupcake paintings I am working on. I am really enjoying my series of paintings...(you know me and cupcakes...lol)

I will post some once they are complete...

I have also added another dress from my 2008 collection...These are going to be Bridesmaid and Maid of Honor cards....

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are inspired to do something creative this week...

Some more of my custom work...Christmas Gifts for Family...

I had such a wonderful Holiday and wanted to share some of my custom artwork with all of you.... I made some custom canvas' as personal gifts.....It was so nice to see everyone's reaction to their new artwork...they loved it!!!

I am having a great time with all my commissions too....every project comes with it's own pleasure and I truly love making these paintings....

I am currently illustrating a short story for a Children's Lit Magazine....I have a deadline for the end of December...so I will be busy ....
