What's on my workspace.....

Hi Everyone....

Hope that you are all having a super amazing week....I am in shock as to how fast each week is going....in no time the little ones will all be back at school and before you know it we will feel the crisp cool Autumn air....
I love each and every Season....but am sad that Summer seems to go the fastest.....I guess that quote about "time flies when you're having fun" must be true since I have the most fun all year during the Summer months when I take a little break from picture books and taking on tons of projects...to just enjoy the super simple and fun things with our little munchkin.....

Oops....sorry for getting off track....today is WOYWW....and I am sharing some character roughs I am working on for one of my new books!!! I have three books in the works and I am enjoying each and every moment of working on them.....

I am sharing these with all of the super talented people who share their workspaces and all of my amazing blog friends....thank you all for being here.....

Happy Wednesday and Happy Creating Everyone!!!

I totally agree that summer seems to go by much quicker. Yay we are coming out of winter so we get to have spring and summer soon, I'll share some with you by photographing my desk in bright summer light

Someone said to me that it is already much darker in the morning than only a few days/weeks ago. But we have hot, sunny days over here. And gladly I love all seasons, too, as all have their advantages and beauties. Oh yes, and time flies by (three projects to be finished this week.....eeeeeekkk!).

Cupcakes, I love the mini ones with icing. I get them every once in a while and my daughter helps me eat them. Just enough icing on each one to do the trick.
I'm waiting for cooler, walking weather. I really don't like heat and humidity.

Hi Diana,

Great drawings! When I was on vacation last September I came upon a cupcake store -- in Manhattan Beach, California. They won the Cupcake Wars on the Food Network (or HGTV....) that year. It was so much fun. Your drawing reminded me of that.

Happy WOYWW

Well if this particular book is all about how children should make their mothers cupcakes, while the mom waits and drinks coffee (or tea, I'm happy with either), then

I'm ALL for it! This may, in fact, be the best book EVER!!!

great looking drawings for your book! Awesome depictions. Summer is almost gone and I am glad to see the heat gone but wish it would stay warm and green a while longer! Sorry I am so late getting around but it is what it is with family, crafts, etc. time can sometimes become a premium! Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #68
