Theme Thursday - Pink and Black ...and my latest doll design...coming soon!!!

HI Everyone....here is my latest design for a mermaid pendant...for little girls who love to be different.....and the rough sketch below......She is the first mermaid that is all pink and black...very rare in the seas off of the Coastline of Croatia.....It is said that she is pink like a flamingo due to her strict diet of sea shrimps......
I also wanted to share my latest sketch for a new wooden peg doll that will be coming out this week...so be sure to pop by so you can see her come to life......I love New York and this lady reminds me of freedom....so I thought she would make a perfect art doll .....

Have a wonderful day!!! night!!!
hugs
Diana

HUMMANA HUMMANA... Ugga bugga WHOAAA! I eat a lot of shrimp but I am not growing any scales and fish tail, what's up with that?

Diana, these dolls are terrific!. They are very unique. I love the story behind them. You are on a roll. What a blast you are having. Share some of that energy and enthusiasm with me please!

Oh wow Diana, your dolls are so cool!
I bet you have endless ideas for these as one.
Love the queen bee and the owl, but the design for the mermaid is sweert too. Too bad X-mas is over so could design a colorful buch of those dolls for in the tree....

Have fun!

I think I have only baked cup cakes once. Oh wait are muffins the same as cupcakes? If not, then I have never baked cupcakes. Goodnight sweetie. The howling winds are keeping me awake.

Love your mermaids, Diana. I had to laugh at the shrimp diet and her coloration. And your Lady Liberty doll is wonderful. I think the folds in her attire are such a great touch.,

Thank you for thinking of me. I am in deep getting ready for my final observation and portfolio review for my teacher qualification next Friday. I hope to make something this weekend...especially with valentines day. Either way, I'm also working lots of extra days and will be in contact towards the end of the month because I'M SHOPPING!!!
