Dedicated to Renee - Fly in Peace and Love

Hi Everyone....

It always amazes me how many wonderful people we can meet without ever stepping foot out of our homes....On my journey I met a very special lady....Her name is Renee and she wrote and inspired us each and every day over at her blog....head over to the blog and read the comments from some of her friends...and you will see how she has touched so many .....

She is one of the strongest women I have ever met....and always inspires us with her deep thoughts and her strength and caring....She is a wife, she is a mother of 3 wonderful children and is battling Cancer. It turns out that her cancer has spread to her stomach, the lining, and the bone marrow and is causing her much pain and suffering.

We pray that she gets the best care possible in her last days with us and will always remember her...I created this piece dedicated to my friend Renee and will also sell prints of it with partial proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Research as a Tribute to her for always being so supportive and sweet to me.....

Renee...we love you and I know that we will meet one day....

Hugs
Diana

Oh you are a magnificent darling friend to honor our beloved Renee! I think the proceeds going to the breast cancer foundation is very noble cause. You got me thinking.

This is a beautiful illustration Diana. I know Renee loves you and thinks you are a cool chick. We had an argument one day over whether you are liberal or conservative and of course she just thinks you are liberal just because you are Canadian. I told het that your impeccable lipstick shows you are absolutely conservative. Well, maybe I am wrong but it was comforting to hear the two of us think fondly of you. She will love this. God Bless our Renee.

Dear, sweet Diana, this is so lovely...the drawing and the donation to the Breast Cancer Research. I had wanted to make a donation anyway in honor of Renee. Beautifully done, Diana. I'm sure you have noticed the art on Renee's sidebar inspired by her. KJ is in touch with the family and I have asked that the time is appropriate, that she ask to have the other Renee-inspired art of Ces, Manon, and Silke added, and now yours, if that is okay with you. All my love to you, Deb

You are such a great friend, Diana! This is a wonderful tribute to Renee. It's terrific that the proceeds are going to the breast cancer foundation. Cancer has touched so many of our lives,,,,,, I hope they can one day find a cure.
The last few days have been sad for so many of us. I do know that we will always have Renee in our hearts.

This is just gorgeous. My Mom will love it. She is so humbled when I tell her about all the comments on her blog. It is helping us to feel this love and support for our Mom. I hope she is able to see this. We are so honoured that you have created this in her memory. I have seen your art around the house. She just loves it.
PS. Your little boy is soooooooo adorable.
Thank you for this Diane and for what you have written about my Mom.

Beautiful Diana, this is incredibly precious and uplifting. It is a fragile image, but there is strength in the lines. You are wonderful and so very thoughtful to donate in Renee's honor. I know she would be so honored and would tell you a thousand times how much she loves this. You are beautiful and loving on so many levels!

Diana, I saw this on Renee's blog this morning and just wanted to pop in to say how lovely I think it is, both the illustration and the sentiment.

Saw this on Cirling my Head and want to THANK YOU for caring enough to do this for Renee, she will be so touched by this.
I have never met Renee but love her dearly, she has inspired me in so many ways.
How can I get one of these prints and will you post to UK?

Big Hugs to you from one friend of Renee to another x

Diana, I think you ought to pop by the Circling My Head blog. I would like to find a way to place this beautiful painting on my blog, too, with your consent, of course. Please, let me know how.

Many thanks.

Greetings from London.
