Day 6 - A Painting a Day Project - who loves lavender fields in Provence? and some fun with Cole....he is my little Angel!!!

Here are all 6 paintings for the last 6 days!!! this project is really relaxing and fun....

This painting will be in an auction at the Gallerie St. George in Staten Island....this weekend!!!

Hi Everyone!!! what a wonderful day...today I spent the day with my two favorite guys in the world...Brad and Cole....We all went tobogganing and then had a nice dinner and then did some night tobogganing too....it was like we were kids again...Cole had a blast....this year he pulled his sled up the hill....he was so cute!!!

He also wanted to make you all some snow angels..since we are happy we finally have some snow for some fun...not enough for a big snowman but enough for some cute snow angels!!!

I also snapped this cute shot of Cole today at our learning time.....I always draw and write and teach Cole new words, letters and numbers...he is so sweet and I just love his excitement over learning....wish I was more like him when I was a child...

Well have a wonderful day!!! and pop back tomorrow for a new painting...

Painting #006 is my tribute to the Sénanque Abbey in Provence France....I can almost smell the Lavender fields...I can't wait for summer to arrive so my Lavender can bloom....

Have a wonderful day!!!

Hugs

GASP!!! You KNOW I love this one! There is just something so intoxicating about looking at pictures at lavender fields and imagining about how they must smell. And the color! Thanks for using my suggestion Diana. It's beautiful.

OMG...Lavender is one of my favorites. I have some growing in a pot out in my front yard. Beautiful, Diana. I love the pics of Cole, too. He looks so darn cute learning his new words & making snow angels. That is quite a snow angel he made. Please tell him I loved it! Big hugs to both of you! xoxo Diane

I love lavender...and especially a long field full of their sweet smell! And your son! He is so bright...tell him thank you for sharing his snow angel. In return, I'll have my daughter make one just for him...so they can be angel friends! lol

What a fabulous painting Diana but I have to say that the image of cole making snow angels and his creation is tops. I am prejudiced, I am a Mom so I have to choose Cole first.

However - A drawing a day?!!!! What has gotten into you.? Did you swallow a magic pill? Oh boy, you are the most prolific artist I know. Truly!Plus you cook and bake and take care of your husband and Cole. Cole looks like he wants a baby sister.

It really does look like an angel when you have finished...Thanks Cole. I have never seen a snow angel before only in movies so this is as close to real life as I have been....love all the artwork. What a busy person you are.
