A painting a day - 3rd Piece - The Sky's the Limit and some special custom paintings....

I am so happy to show you a few of my custom watercolours....the client came up with ideas for scenes and then I went wild with the ideas....These paintings are so much fun and I love incorporating actual people in these paintings....I especially love their reactions when they get the pieces....The baker piece was a lot of fun....since the client really doesn't cook she thought it would be a great piece in her kitchen.....She loves purses and jewelry from Lulu Guinness, a British Accessories designer so I added a few purses and jewelry for fun.....
I am also happy to report that I am on a roll with this "A painting a Day-2010" project....It is a great way to unwind the days work....I am really enjoying it...and I hope you are too!!!
Have a wonderful Monday!!!
Hugs
Diana

Today's post and art is a feast for the creative soul, Diana! I'm sure that your client will ADORE the cooking piece. And I love the way you've personalized it with the purses and her trendy necklace. Hugs, Terri xoxo

I love these!!!! I was trying to envision what I would want for one of your pieces...and I can see how it could be. I'll have to find my favourite place in England and send them your way.

I also GOT YOUR STAMPS!!!! They are more beautiful in person and wonderfully LARGE!!! I am sort of a picky stamp collector...and I love your work. These stamps are just perfect and Wednesday I am getting right to it.
Thank you for sending them...and for the special gift. :)

Diana, your painting is amazing! Each of those watercolors is gorgeous in its own way. I am especially drawn to the kitchen scene and the fun it shows, knowing that the subject doesn't really like cooking that much. The image of the woman is beautifully done.

The "baker" painting is terrific! One of your best!

This "painting a day" project is pretty ambitious. I started a similar project myself. It's called "eating dinner everyday". So far, I'm keeping up with you.

hahahaha....you are funny Josh!!! I started painting more so I could spend less time eating...heheheh
