Created by Hand - theme "Waiting for Spring" ...my take...Martinis for everyone...and make mine a double...and Cole's new painting...

Hi Everyone...I am submitting this double martini painting and Cole's painting from today to the Created by Hand Challenge....the theme this week is "waiting for spring" and it is pretty far away at the moment so for fun I thought we could share a virtual martini to pass the time...I never really liked the plain vodka martinis...but I love olives so make mine a double....

Cole also worked on his latest piece ...a watercolour that is bright and cheery ...just like spring...
not bad for a 3 and a half year old!!!

Wishing you all a wonderful Tuesday!!!
Hugs
Diana

My husband likes Belvedere on the rocks with blue cheese stuffed olives. I like black olives or kalamata olives. But I love your painting, I love that gold honeycomb texture in the red. It is very interesting and exciting.
Cole's picture is amazing. I wish I could keep that freedom of youth in my work. I always have a vision, I think he has a vision too, but without the fear of ruining his piece! Kids are great! What a treasure you have!

Mmmmm, martinis! I love them. Especially Cosmopolitans. I may just have to grow a lime tree in AZ so I can have plenty of drink garnish on hand! :) So many of the houses we looked at had citrus trees.

Cole did a great job Diana, as did you! I love martinis!! My favorite is a Cocotini...I think chocolate runs in my veins! ha

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes for Ryan. It seems like just yesterday he was Cole's age. Enjoy each and every moment with your precious boy♥

Very nice. I'm not into Martini's but I'll toast you with a Daiquiri.

And Cole's painting is awesome. Love the colors.

How wonderful that you are honoring your choice to do a painting a day. That must feel wonderful! Both of these are really fun. I love that Cole enjoys art. Childrens art is something I love!

A double martini could really help eases the dreary days of winter!
I can eat the olives, but the liquor would put me under the table!
Your painting is lusciously done. I like the texture very much.
I am so impressed by you creating a painting every day! I may be inspired by you to vow to write a short story each day.....hmmmmm....I wonder if I could do that....????
Cole's painting is truly amazing! At three and a half, it is unusual to cover the entire page, as well as to have clear colors, so distinct. Beautiful! Frame it!

You've got an artist! C I really love your picture. All the colours fit together so well and they don't all blend together looking muddy. You kept the colours really bright! WOW!!!
