Happy Birthday Cole....10 Minute Warm Up....Birthday decorating fun...and some vacation photos!

Hi Everyone....

7 Years ago today I received the greatest gift in the world....our son Cole...It is his 7th Birthday today and I am busy working on some fun little touches for his Birthday Dinner and Party tonight! I am so thrilled to add some of his favorite little Despicable Me characters to his party....I took my 10 minute Warm up time and created the first piece which I will take another 10 Minutes to whip into the coolest cake topper ever!!!! I hope he loves it and I can't wait to see his smile.....The photos I included in this post are from our time at the cottage...the magical sunset....and Cole took a cool class at the Home Depot by our cottage and built a cool wooden Despicable Me Lucy Car....how cool is that!!! He was so excited about this project with Daddy!!! adorable!!!

I also have a ton of photos from our amazing time at the cottage these past few weeks so I will be sharing these too!!!

Happy Birthday Sweetie!!! We love you Cole....

Hi Everyone...today was Cole's 3rd Birthday and we celebrated all over again with Family ...it was wonderful and Cole had so much fun with everyone....I am so happy he enjoyed his special day.....This morning I took Cole out for a special Birthday Breakfast with me....and then we did everything and anything he wanted...we ran around the yard with our squirt guns and swam and played...it was another dream day .....I love my little munchkin with all my heart and he makes my heart grow bigger each and every day.....

Happy Birthday son...you are so loved!!!

I am so tired from all the swimming and fun today...I think this will be the first day I go to bed before 2a.m.....I must be getting older too....lol

Make a wish!

Hi Everyone...

We had a wonderful time for our son's second Birthday Party...

This year we are having two parties...

One with all our friends and their children...this was on Saturday July 12th.... we had 18 people over and it was a blast....

and Cole is lucky that on his actual Birthday which is July 15th he is having another party with family...



He was so excited when everyone sang Happy Birthday and his smile when he blew out his candle was priceless....

I made a special cake for him...Strawberry and Lemon....and then I used a print of the painting I made for him as a cake topper...

and there are a few cupcakes left in the corner.....

Brad and I worked on the decorations....

Cole loves his tractor ...just like Daddy's lawn mower...hehehe

Custom Canvas for Cole...Arty Girlz Submission for "hint of pink" the flower in the mongoose's hair and the second piece's balloon....

On Cole's First Birthday last year I started a new tradition...to create a special canvas for him on each Birthday....

The second photo below is his first Birthday canvas....I get commissioned to work on these with clients and it's fun to work on these for Cole...

This year I created a special one incorporating all of his most favorite things....

Minnie his dog, the mongoose, a monkey, cake, balloons, the monster truck he carries everywhere.... and cake of course....oh yeah and hats...he is addicted to hats...lol....

I will finish all the details of this piece and also use it in designing the Birthday invites....
