WOYWW - I am in the kitchen....Cilantro Lime Chicken - so good I could eat this everyday....

Hi Everyone....I am addicted to this marinade....One day I was so bored with my chicken breasts that I decided to give them a super duper flavor punch....I took my mini food processor....you can pick one of these up at your local Walmart for like under $10.00 and once you start using it you will love it and use it for all sorts of sauces and dishes.....I picked mine up in Canada for $9.97 in the store and just saw one in the USA Walmart for $3.88....wow!!!

Anyways....there is really no measure for the ingredients....

take a large bunch of cilantro place it in the food processor, add some oil, a few garlic cloves, zest of one or two limes and the juice, salt and pepper to taste.....mix all these ingredients and then take your fresh chicken breasts and slice them into thin strips....add them to a container and add your marinade...let sit for a few hours and then grill your meat....

I like to serve my chicken over salad and love to use my yummy Guacamole on the side.... you can find my recipe card here for Guacamole....and I will make a super cute recipe card for you all for my Cilantro Lime Chicken...coming soon!!!

Working away on some more super fun designs in the Studio this week....but since I have been working away in the kitchen I am sharing this for my WOYWW post.....

Happy Tuesday and Happy Creating Everyone!

What is Cilantro. In Australia we don't have anything that is called by that name. My guess is celery or parsley. Looks good.

Diana, I am so glad you came to my blog. Even though I usually visit around on Friday, I decided to see what's going on with you. I found this super, super recipe. I can't wait to try it myself when I get all the ingredients in the house. Your salad is a work of art, beautiful as it probably is delicious.

Took me a long time to make the connection with coriander here in the UK. Sounds a good marinade.

Hmm, I'm not a big fan of chicken but this really does look delicious. What a great idea to make your marinade like that. A world of possibilities is opening up in my head right now .... :-)

The first Walmart I was ever in was in St. Catherine's, Ontario. It was just as sad as the ones in the United States.

Looks Great Diana! I am a vegetarian and will probably use the marinade for something else but I think I will give my girls this on their chicken. They would probably just love it! Great idea! Yummy.
