A few new paintings to share right before we end 2011.....what a wonderful year!
Hi Everyone.....
Again...I can't believe it is Friday already.....and that Christmas was last week....and that a whole new Year is upon us.....I wish time would slow down just a little bit so we don't miss anything.....
Today I finished up my last two watercolour paintings for 2011....wow....what a year for paintings and books and illustrations and fun.....I have learned so much this past year.....and I also hope that I have grown as an artist over the last 365 days.....seems like I was just telling you all about my 2011 business plans and now I have to start planning my 2012 business plans....wow is all I can say.....
These two latest paintings were so much fun to work on....tonight I am bringing this Baby painting to it's new home......I hope they love the way it turned out.....I think this little boy is as cute as can be! and the Pug is another special painting that I will be sharing in my Etsy Shop for Pug Lovers everywhere.
Finally....I am sharing these two paintings with all of my wonderful friends over at Paint Party Friday....it has been a wonderful time with all of you and I hope 2012 brings us more great times.....
Happy Friday and Happy Creating!!!!

Hasn't this been a wonderful artistic year? I am so proud of us all!
The pug is too cute, someone will snap him up for sure, and that baby's cheeks are just pinchable. Love his serious expression.

Cuties!!!
Happy New Year!!
As grandmother to a 3 year old grandson, I am partial to the baby with a pacifier. My little one only needs his now as he winds down to go to sleep at night. Your paintings are both wonderful, Diana
I so want to run up and get a treat from the cabinet for that pug! He looks just like my dog when he wants a treat. Your last 2 paintings of 2011 are fabulous - looking forward to what 2012 holds!
Both paintings show off your incredible talent, Diana. Being more of a baby lover than a pug lover, my eyes went quite naturally to that adorable little baby. Have a great new year. Faye
Diana, amazing the eyes of the dog, but the portrait the baby is adorable. Happy new year
Diana! These are GORGEOUS! I LOVE the pug painting and that little boy is so sweet! What a wonderful talent you are - it has been a pleasure catching up on your last few posts (cutie Cole and that Christmas dinner painting!) and I hope you have a wonderful, fabulous 2012! xoxoxo
What great paintings! I love the pug and his cute little expression. I'm sure the parents of that cute baby are going to just love the portrait. how sweet and what a beautiful heirloom to have.
