Illustration Friday....Toy

1940s dictionary page doll
I was toying with the theme this week...then decided to keep with my 1940s Dictionary page art and create a piece as a homage to one of my favorite toys growing up....the doll.....

so here she is ....on her special page....all ready for some play.....

I have a whole lot of vintage pages to work on and this was a fun challenge to tie in Illustration Friday with my new series of illustrations on 1940s Dictionary pages.....

Happy Friday Everyone...and Happy Creating!!!

very cool idea and wonderfully executed.

I didn't realize they had dictionaries in 1940.

Hi Diana,

Love your sweet doll and how you have incorporated it in the wonderful old page of the dictionary.
I used to love my dolls too.

Have a happy weekend
