Hi Everyone!!! I am so excited.....my latest book is now available and I am thrilled with the way it turned out....It is the first book where I marry my writing with my illustrations. It is a wonderful story that I want to share with you all. I hope that this will become a family favorite.
Remember what it was like when you got to plant your first seeds? This year is the first year that this little boy gets to plant sunflower seeds in his Mom's garden. The book takes you on a journey as he learns to appreciate the things that really didn't seem like gifts and also teaches that hard work and patience can really pay off in the end. This is a wonderful read with children and can help children understand that everything has a special purpose in life. It may also inspire you and your family to spend some quality time together taking care of a garden. There are so many gifts around us and sometimes we just need to take a moment to be reminded of these wonderful gifts. And learning to be grateful for them can change our lives forever.
If you want to pick up a copy of this book you can head here to learn more or click on the photos above....
Have a wonderful night...I am off to finish my next book....
Hugs

Oh, DIANA! Wooohoooo, congratulations! It looks spectacular and sounds wonderful. A lot of work and a ton of heart went into this project, and it shows.
I recently read a story about a boy and his sunflowers. Perhaps you heard of it, too. He was growing sunflowers to enter into a contest at a fair. Shortly before the fair, he got a bad infection, and the night before, he passed away. His family, though grieving, took the sunflower that he had nurtured all summer to the fair and entered it. And lo and behold, it won first prize for biggest seedhead. All the seeds from that flower were harvested to plant more sunflowers. True story. Very sad, and also uplifting.
