Tuesday stroll in England....my latest watercolour & Created by Hand - Favorite Background

Hi Everyone....I am no expert in all things English...but thought that this piece was fun with the scenery and the double decker bus....I always think of the double decker bus when I think of England....then there is the English fare like Bangers and Mash....Do you have some favorite memories of England? let me know what they are and I will try to create some new pieces all about England......

This is my latest watercolour and it is available in my Shop....

I also noticed that this week on the "Created by Hand Challenge Blog" the theme is Favorite Backgrounds...and I have to say that I really love the way watercolour backgrounds look...the way the colours change and come together....anyway this is a background I just finished and will have to use in some of my work....hope you enjoy it!!!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!!!

Hugs
Diana

This is beautiful. I love it. I tried to go and "Heart" it on etsy to see if it is still available when we come back from vacation, but I may look at your coffee cups instead, not sure yet.
Love you work, very much. I haven't water colored in a long time, I need to get back into some more artistic adventures!!!

I haven't been to England but your painting reminds me of Ottawa! They still have the double decker buses and the Parliament looks like Big Ben!!
Love the painting and the new background!!

Very cool! I love this Diana. I JUST got back from England, and I bought a recipe book called teatime treats at a cute tea room. The best dessert I ever had I found in the town of Ulverston "Sticky Ginger Pudding". I'm going to try to pick the recipe apart and share!

Hi Diana, great watercolour painting! It brings back memories- i spent 8 years in England, 4 in London where i met my husband, so it holds a special place for me. Great work as always! Btw, I've got an award for you over at my blog :-)

Hi Diana,

Lovely watercolours.
Riding around on the double decker bus was wonderful seeing all the sights like Big Ben, Tower bridge and Buckingham Palace, made it all seem so real. You have depicted the streets of London well.
I love both pieces of your Artwork.

Enjoy your day

Diana, what a gorgeous watercolor. I love the red of the bus - it just pops! Something I love about England are the red telephone booths! :)

Your watercolor background simply looks happy! Hugs, Silke

Oh my goodness! You give me too much credit. I only like the lovable and wonderful people so the credit goes to you!

By the way, I love your artichokes! Yes, I mean the artwork on one of the links below.

In the meantime, you are the one who is prolific and productive with your art and you also have a beautiful garden and a beautiful house, albeit no dust, unlike mine. I clean like an elf and then forget about the house the next three weeks, so it's always catch-up!

Thank you sweet! BUT I already have done ART-I-CHOKE! (My art chokes). Okay, so that is corny. HA!

Please stop by for a couple of awards I have for you ( I think you may already have them).

Have a great rest of the week!

What a typical English scene Diana! It's painted in very quaint English way too!! I'm obviously English & for me it's the English countryside, rolling green hills, castles & countryside... tea & cake... cream teas... oooh & that special stuff we always have... English rain!!!!

Hope you & your family are well!

Take care
