Mixed Media Monday - Stars....my Victorian Wall Plaques....

Hi Everyone....I just finished my latest project...I used my Victorian Art to create these wall plaques...they are made with dimensional paint for texture and highlighted with metalic liquid acrylics....I had a lot of fun with these ladies....I just listed them in my Etsy Shop!!! The theme this week for MMM is "Stars" and I think all of the lovely ladies shine like stars...I loved this era where women would always be decked out and beautifully adorned......

Diana,
Do you live in Hamilton? I lived in Brantford for 4 years and one of my best friends still lives there.

Hi Diana,

The Ladies are beautiful and how lovely that you have made them into wall plaques.
It was such a glamourous and fun era.

Thank you Diana for stopping by and your comment. The mirrors might make for some good stickers too!! You could draw the brush and the comb too.
I would like those and they would be fun.
And they would go great with your ladies! My great grandmother had a mirror, brush, and comb set that matched and that is what your ladies reminded me of... her!

The colors are to die for! I love the restraint of them. They're totally classy but so bright too. I feel like it's hard to pull off both.
