My latest series...and my submission to Mixed Media Monday

Hi Everyone...

I am merging my love of watercolour and ink with my love for paper cutting to bring you my whole new series of work...Each piece is an interchangeable piece of art ....all you have to do is change the background to get a whole new look....I suggest you always use an acid free backing in any colour your heart desires....Have fun changing it to fit your décor needs or the changing seasons…
This photo is taken against a window to show all the cut out details....
This first piece was created for my wonderful friend Michelle....It is titled "Dreaming"
Here is the piece framed ....
I will have 3 new pieces that will be available in my Etsy Shop on Monday October 27th ...
Hope you pop by and see the new pieces...
I am also submitting this on Mixed Media Monday...the theme this week is "Lock and Key" for me the the key is my knife and scissors and the locks are the cutouts.....Opened by the key...my knife and scissors....
Hope you enjoy it....
Hugs
Diana

It's interesting how our art imitates our lives. You draw women with beautiful long flowing hair because you have it and I draw my women with short hair!

Wow! This is really impressive and what a wonderful idea! I love that people can customize the artwork - but the pieces still remain very you. Well done. :-)
